Fire Department or Emergency Responders?

Emmit, Olivia, Darianne

Welcome!

The theme of our midterm project is to relate San Francisco Fire Department's Medical Incidents to time. After finding that Medical Incidents take such a large portion of San Francisco Fire Department calls, we decided to explore and investigate the nature of time played within these incidents. Our first visualization includes an analysis on the types of calls received in the San Francisco Fire Department. Our second visualization includes a comparison of the neighborhoods with the worst dispatch to on scene times. Our third visualization investigates the time it takes for passengers to be delivered from the scene to the hospital. These times in comparison to medical incidents, can have a great impact on the outcome of the situation depending on the patient's health.
