This is a Heatmap that examines the number of fires in the Lone Mountain/USF area. The fires are structure and outside fires. The data is from 2009-2018. Frequency is encoded with color scale and the axes are Months and Years. You can hover over each cell and it will highlight the cell aswell as give you the amount of records for each month in a certain year.
This chart can be used to look at every single month in the 10 year period and it allows you to see trends in the years/months and it is really useful to see outliers in months. An example of this is the July 2009, it is a huge outlier from all other July months in the next years.
