I chose this data set because I wanted to get a deeper understanding of the evolution of violent crimes in the last years. Prevention of violent crimes is, of course, a problem that is tied to a lot of factors such as; the economy, unemployment, culture, etc. But I hope by providing a piece to the puzzle that I can try to gain some deeper knowledge of this issue and see if we are moving in a positive direction.
