The chart shows the Unit Types dispatched to each Call Type incident. The Call Types were categorized by incidents involving fire (Marine Fire, Outside Fire, Structure Fire, Train / Rail Fire, Vehicle Fire) and incidents not involving fire (the remaining Call Types).
The number of units dispatched to the scene invovling fire is overall significantly less than units dispatched to scenes not involving fire. This means we are dispatching costly fire department resources for non-fire related incidents.
